Best Professor 2010 | Roberta Barker | Public Life

Best Professor

Roberta Barker

It’s a hat-trick for Barker, winning the Best Prof three years running. She certainly comes with an impressive resume, including author---a book entitled Early Modern Tragedy, Gender and Performance, 1884-2000---and associate professor and chair in the Dalhousie Theatre Department, teaching in the Early Modern Studies Programme at King’s as well as in the Dalhousie Theatre Department. She’s taught in the English Department at Mount Allison University and received her English Literature doctorate at the Shakespeare Institute, University of Birmingham. But all that wouldn’t matter if she didn’t inspire her students, which clearly, she does.

First Runner-up: Jure Gantar

Second Runner-up Ted Hubbard
