Best Place To Volunteer

Ronald McDonald House

Gold Winner Nova Scotia SPCA

Silver Winner Ronald McDonald Family Room

Bronze Winner IWK Health Centre

Oh, me? I’m just headed into my weekly volunteer shift at the SPCA where I’m required to fill a basket with puppies and kittens, skip to a field of wildflowers and let them crawl all over me! OK, in all seriousness, volunteering at the SPCA may not be that idyllic but it’s certainly appreciated. “We are absolutely thrilled to have been voted for by our amazing volunteers," says Ashley Burke, communications at SPCA. “We truly can’t do our work without their commitment, their energy and their enthusiasm for our mission.”
