Of course the SPCA is the best place to volunteer. It’s true that there is no shortage of good causes to help out with around HRM, but who wouldn’t want to be surrounded by animals all day? To volunteer at the Dartmouth location of the SPCA, most roles require you to be over 18 years of age. Volunteer teams include cat cuddlers and dog walkers (THE DREAM), shelter greeters and foster finders.
