Best Place To Go Running

Point Pleasant Park

Samson Learn
Gold winner, Point Pleasant Park.

Gold Winner Point Pleasant Park

Silver Winner Shubie Park

Bronze Winner Lake Banook

Point Pleasant sprints at the finish to win gold again in this category, also known as Best Place To Walk Your Human. A fierce competitor that gives 110 percent, the park has lots to appeal to runners. Hills, for example. Steep hills, twisty hills, that deceptively hard slow climb along the Northwest Arm. Real runners love hills, because they’re high on endorphins and can’t think straight. Less-serious runners can enjoy the park’s flat stretches, especially along the harbour by Black Rock Beach. You never have to stop because you’re tired—you’re just taking a break to enjoy the view.
