Although there’s currently some construction going on, the waterfront is still pretty damn romantic, and it doesn’t cost you a dime to take a stroll along the boardwalk. It’s hard to resist spending some cash while you’re there, however. There are restaurants, cafes, places to grab an ice cream (see Best Ice Cream) as well as a beer garden during the summer. Choose your own adventure. There’s also the wave statue that you’re not supposed to climb but everyone does anyway.
