You can’t get rid of Sal’s that easily, Halifax. After being ushered into the Hall of Fame last year thanks to its long run as Best Pizza Pie winner, the north end pizza joint has decidedly been chosen your favourite slice of 2017. Yup, it turns out a single piece of the pie is just as good as the entire thing. “I have one almost every day,” says owner Chris Cuddihy of his restaurant’s golden slices and admirable lunch habits. “I’m proud of the team, and our pizzas are something else.”
