Funny that the Best New Restaurant would also be named Hardest Place to Get a Table. The Thai Chilli House was perhaps the most widely anticipated restaurant ever to open in Halifax, and though the room is nondescript, the too-few tables are crammed together and the hours were erratic in the first weeks, cheerful service and that distinctive mix of hot, sour, salty and sweet flavours have kept Haligonians coming back.
