Best New Restaurant

Co-owner Stephanie Bertossi attributes the sudden and undeniable success of her new restaurant, which replaced her company’s long-running fine dining spot Bish in February, to the atmosphere. “It’s like a party at home,” she says, remarking on the photos on the walls of chef Maurizio Bertossi’s friends and family, going back to the 1960s. “We’ve made it really fun and laidback. It’s old school and new school mixed together.” There’s also 40 wines available by the glass and a menu that’s wowing the customers. “We’ve done fine dining our whole lives. As we get older, we like simpler.”
