“I like that song a lot. It takes a lot of influence from our roots. Our influences are all over the place, like Taking Back Sunday, which you can hear a bit in the track, and also Coldplay and Blink-182,” Neon Dreams’ Adrian Morris says of the duo’s winning music video. “There’s this heavy breakdown at the end where Frank”—that’s Frank Kadillac, the band’s vocalist—“just almost screams and that’s really where these influences shine.” It seems as though the city agrees.
