Andy Fillmore rose to power last October during the red wave of Trudeaumania that elected Canada’s current Liberal government. He bested longtime Halifax MP Megan Leslie in that election, and fittingly takes the crown in our Best of Halifax poll as well, becoming HRM’s Best Member of Parliament. The former urban planner with HRM has made sustainable, eco-conscious development a passion project.
