Immortalized by Jenn Grant in her glorious pop song “Dreamer,” Chocolate Lake continues to get Coast readers’ love for being so close to the city, just off the peninsula, down by the rotary, sorry, roundabout. (Having trouble remembering that little change.) Also, hidden in the trees away from the busy roads and surrounded by lovely homes, there’s a special kind of peace to be found in its placid waters.
