Diminished FifthRecords

"We've been steadily growing, but the bottom line is that we're still young," says Josh Hogan. Though Diminished Fifth is still a young label, its name has quickly become synonymous with the best in east coast metal, including our Loudest Band winner Black Moor. For now, it's Hogan running D5R, with partners who deal in graphic design, websites and recording, but we predict this company will grow with no diminished returns. Next up: new albums by Rusted Dawn and The Daisy Antithesis, out this week.

First runner-up: Noyes Records

Second runner-up: Divorce Records
