Gio is the Best Hotel Restaurant perhaps because it doesn’t think of itself as a hotel restaurant. Partners-in-crime with Best Hotel, the Gio/Prince George duo puts in work to make sure celebs and citizens feel like stars. “From front to back-of-house we have people committed to doing the best they can do,” says food and beverage manager Shawn Lewis. Lewis’ own 30 years of dedication is a sign in itself of the great team he credits with the restaurant’s success.
