Best Hip Hop Artist / Band

Gold Winner Quake Matthews

Silver Winner Aquakultre

Bronze Winner Corey Writes

It takes Quake Matthews a good 10 seconds to think of a reply when asked what makes him the best hip hop artist in town. “Just persistence and consistency,” he says. “There’s so many talented people from this city and no one is really in it from this city to be big in this rap thing. In this city, I think a lot of people get frustrated because they think it’s not possible—talented, incredible people who don’t think it’s possible. I’m just one of the few who’s been able to stick with it. I’m just thankful I get to do what I wanna do and that sustains me to live.”
