Becoming the Best Gallery doesn’t happen overnight. For the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, it’s a process that started a long time ago. In fact, it was a decade ago. Exactly. This weekend the agns is having its tenth birthday, and you’re invited to help celebrate. When you go down on Saturday or Sunday, be sure to congratulate gallery director Bernie Riordan. He’s the arts visionary who’s watched his dream of a public cultural collection grow from occupying a small space at nscad in 1988, to occupying an important place in the heart of the city.
