Coast readers have dished openly about the food in this place, which, along with the welcoming 176-year-old historic building, probably accounts for the popularity of the pub: We’ve never been in there when it’s quiet, and we’re in there all the time. In the winter especially, you’d be hard pressed to find a cozier spot, and in the summer, a better patio. And we haven’t even gotten to the fish cakes and the Ultimate Burger and the nachos. Sigh.
