Silver Winner Susan Kent

“Thanks to the kind people who voted for me and other cultural workers,” says the versatile and busy Jackie Torrens, your favourite lady to watch onscreen. “If it’s for my work in Across the Line, then I’d like to thank fellow actor Denis Theriault-Jay for allowing me to jab at his springy forehead in the lovely angry scene we had together. If it’s for Sex & Violence, then my job is made a whole lot easier by the amazing cast and crew I get to work with.” Torrens will return in season 3 of Sex & Violence and is working on a pair of documentaries for 2017. “In the meantime, local directors: I’m for hire, extremely affordable and have a beginner’s driver’s license.”
