Lisa Drader-Murphy celebrates another win in this category, and that’s not all she’s toasting. This October marked Drader-Murphy’s 15th anniversary as the prolific force behind Turbine, her ready-to-wear line of innovative yet wearable pieces. Drader-Murphy did it up large, with a fashion show of 300 new pieces---the largest Canadian fashion show featuring pieces by a single designer, many inspired by her recent trips to India. Her designs can be found locally at Turbine Boutique in Bishop’s Landing, or on the backs of Halifax’s most fashionable.
