After the release of debut LP Through the Air, Across the Ocean, MVMNTS straddles sonic lines somewhere between “desert rock, doom, post-metal and jazz,” says Brendan Robertovich. “The band has spent the past year composing and recording the looming Dry Land is a Myth, mixing up the unconventional lineup of bass, drums, bass, violin and guitar.” MVMNTS has also incorporated an electronic wind instrument— “the result of a saxophone boinking a synthesizer, and developed group vocals. Come see the new stuff, it’s hard to explain.”
