There’s a saying in the car biz that “when you’re only number two, you try harder.” Sure, it was first said about a car rental company, but it applies to Colonial Honda, too. The family business earned the silver award in the last few Best of Halifax polls, getting motivated to dig a little deeper and claim top spot this year, a lovely present for the dealership’s 40th birthday. Which brings to mind W.B. Pitkin’s quote, “Life begins at 40.” And this pithy gem from a Colonial customer: “Best sales and service in HRM.”
