Joël Chiasson estimates that on any given Saturday upwards of 1,500 people have a bite to eat at Waverley’s Mic Mac Bar & Grill—a huge chunk of whom are stopping by for its classic breakfast-lunch hybrid menu, where filet mignon and eggs and fishcakes, eggs and beans standout. “Like they say, we make most of our mistakes when we’re quiet…and luckily we don’t have that opportunity,” Chiasson says of uber-busy restaurant, where a weekend lineup’s a common occurrence. “Everyone is always on their game and go go go. They’re all extremely hard workers.”
