In a city that loves craft beer, it’s no wonder our handful of brew pubs are solid gold. In it’s third consecutive victory in this category, Spring Garden Road’s crafty watering hole continues to wow the masses with brewmaster Jake Saunders’ creations, as well as a menu stacked with great pub food and regular entertainment like trivia night and open mic. “Best Brew Pub is really awesome,” says owner Shaun O’Hearn upon hearing of the win. “It’s nice to be able to get that honour—we always try our best to deliver.” Rockbottom’s latest big news is a sort of expansion, a stand alone sister brewery—Nine Locks Brewing—is slated to open in Dartmouth in late November.
