Best Athlete (Male) 2007 | Sidney Crosby | Public Life

Best of Halifax

Best Athlete (Male)

Sidney Crosby

OK, so he started out the season a little slow. So what. You know he’s going to be one of the leading scorers in the NHL just as he was the last two years. It’ll be hard to top the trifecta of awards he picked up for ‘06-’07---the Hart Trophy, the Art Ross Trophy, and the Lester B. Pearson Award---but which ever way he continues to be great on the ice, what makes Crosby a continual shoe-in for the Best Athlete honour is he remains a down to earth Cole Harbour guy. He loves what he does, he isn’t an ass when he talks to the press and he doesn’t take dirty shots. He simply excels.

First runner up: Devin Sherrington

Second runner up: Steve Giles
