Best Athlete (Female)

Adrienne Power

Adrienne Power runs like the wind. Al Scott is director of athletics at Dalhousie University, where Power was the shining light of sprinting for five years. “She will be remembered,” says Scott, “as one of our finest athletes.” Last spring, Power won three gold medals at the CIS National Track and Field meet, and set a record in the 300-metre sprint. She also won the 200-metre race at the Senior Nationals. Power is an Olympic hopeful and commerce grad. She’s now working in the RBC Olympians Program; the bank supports our brightest young athletic stars by hiring them as motivational speakers.
