It’s a busy time over at the Ecology Action Centre. Membership’s at an all-time high, and the gold winner spent the past year engaging on everything from genetically modified salmon to climate change. The EAC is now prepping delegates for the upcoming Paris climate talks while fighting battles on clean water and solid waste management. That’s all in between renovating and expanding its Fern Lane HQ. Managing director Maggy Burns says the EAC’s new old home will have a third floor and massive eco-friendly improvements when they move back in this January. “It’s going to be an exciting start of the year for us.”
