Aureas Voces

A new early music ensemble, Aureas Voces' first production is this set of Renaissance-era choral masterworks, directed by Nick Veltmeyer and featuring soloists Janelle Lucyk and Sarah Myatt. The concert will include Tallis' Lamentations of Jeremiah as well as a Canadian premiere of a Thomas Ford setting of the John Donne translation of the Lamentations. Other works by Blow, Byrd, Dowland, Gibbons, Palestrina and Duruflé await.
