The 35th AFF is a welcome chance to say “Hoorah for Haliwood!” again, after the long summer of reeling from the notorious cuts Stephen McNeil’s government made to provincial film funding incentives. Movie fans have an abundance of local, Canadian and worldly offerings to watch. Filmmakers can plot how to recover those lost Liberal #NSFilmJobs. And we suggest everyone get out for North Mountain and/or a tour of local film landmarks.
