ASIST: Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training
When: Jan. 29-30, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. 2015
ASIST is a two-day training of LivingWorks Education that prepares caregivers to become more willing, ready and able to help persons at risk. Just as CPR skills make physical first aid possible, training in suicide intervention develops the skills used in suicide first aid. ASIST is an intensive, interactive and practice-dominated course designed to help caregivers recognize risk and learn how to intervene to prevent the immediate risk of suicide.
Pre-registration is required.
