Artifact Institute: Investigation 2: Electronic equipment not accepted for curbside garbage collection by the Halifax Regional Municipality

The Artifact Institute plans to travel through the HRM following the garbage collection schedule, identify electronic equipment, photograph it in situ, then relocate it to an appropriate recycling facility. Meeting with the public one day a week, when documentation of the relocated electronic equipment will be available---aiming to encourage HRM "to give additional consideration to the ecological impacts of the production, consumption and disposal of electronic equipment. The project also offers a context for members of the public to consider their personal use of technology in relation to questions of value, obsolescence, waste and recycling."
