Angry Birds Star Wars

iOS, Android, Windows, OSX (Rovio, Lucasarts)

Angry Birds didn’t take long to steal the spotlight back from their swine nemeses, recently featured in the well executed Bad Piggies. This is still very much a classic Angry Birds experience, with a few new tweaks to keep it fresh. Most of those tweaks are borrowed from the Star Wars universe. The birds have a new look, adopting the cartoonish stylings of Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi and others. They’ve also adopted some new moves, including using light sabers. The added abilities allow for exciting moments if they’re timed right. For fans of Angry Birds and Star Wars, it’s hard to ask for a better mash-up. There are currently only two chapters available from the outset, with more are on the way with a free update. The force is strong with this one.
