Hey, good lookin'! Skank Williams

Halifax’s only all-female Hank Williams cover band, Skank Williams, is hosting A Month of Sundays at Tribeca in April. The band consists of Dawn Negus on banjo, Katherine McQueen on guitar, and Heidi Fifield on bass. And this Sunday April 26 is for the die-hard old-school country music fan. Skank Williams unites with Cash Only, A Tribute to Johnny Cash (Jason Burbine on guitar, Brad Prest on bass, Mike Carroll on drums, Allison MacDougal as June Carter, and Mike Pellerin as The Man in Black). Anyone who dresses in black from head to toe gets a dollar off admission. Tickets are $6 at the door, doors at 7pm. Yeehaw.
