This place was a staple when I worked on Gottingen 5 years ago: the food was incredibly portioned for the price, and tasty to boot. George was always generous and kind, and kept efficient friendly staff. I loved Fish Cake Friday and was so grateful all around for those nanaimo squares and the coffee. In recent years, I've been working downtown, but any work that's taken me back to that neighbourhood on Fridays have seen me merrily popping in for Fish Cakes. The Cafe will be so missed!
