I am researching my family tree, and my great, great, great, great grandfather is John Young, a prominent member of the provincial parliament and the author of those "fliers" you are talking about. They were actually published letters regarding his theories of agriculture and husbandry that were eventually carried into practice.
Anyway, I really enjoyed your dramatic, school-girlish rant. I am definitely printing this off to add to our family tree album so my grand children can look back and laugh at the crazy man who was angry about a man born in 1774.
