As someone who is only part way through her (grueling!) 1000hr internship towards becoming an accredited music therapist under the Canadian Association of Music Therapy, I hate to say that it irks me to read that someone is conducting "music therapy" without the proper certification. As a body, the community works so hard to be recognized as a viable alternative therapy, and where I am certain that as a musician who has studied neuroscience Sid would make an incredible MTA, but it takes away from the validity of the title we work so hard to get. I hope you see where I'm coming from!
