It's strange that gas prices are controlled in Nova Scotia but,not rent control? It's just a excuse to allow landlords to continue to charge whatever they please.Low income people out there have to struggle and find it impossible to live because of high rental units. They are forced to pay high rent and it's not right or fair to the lower income people living in that lower income bracket. There should be reduced rent for those people in Nova Scotia through the Nova Scotia Housing Authority and it should not reflect on anyone if,they are 21 or 65 years old, married, single or have children and etc.Everyone on low income should be given that right so,it's less stressful for them to live in a apartment.
