Wow. Sorry, I forgot my cape and X-ray glasses at home. Yelling at someone and stopping them from beating their dog is hardly being a bystander. As stated, I was across the street and wasn't able to run across 4 lanes of traffic. I was also sideways to the vehicle and could not see the license plate, and besides, she was standing in front of it. The only other person that was around only came along after she sped off. I'll be sure to pack my cape from now on!
So, I have heard the term "snowflake" used before, and noticed that it is used to insult someone. How ironic!! The definition of "snowflake" describes the poor fool that felt he was too special to pull his head out of his ass to have a conversation with a person with a slight accent! Quite different from someone being offended by an ignorant racist.

Yup - the rude caller needed his "safe place" away from the harsh reality that he is not unique, definitely not special, and this country is as diverse as they come! He needs to adapt, or as aforementioned, go crawl back under his rock.
There is nothing "arrogant" about expecting people to have common sense and manners in public. It seems like that is thrown out the window on the buses in Halifax. Passengers have a hard time reading and following instructions, such as "Move to the rear", and "Exit at the rear door". Meanwhile there are passengers wanting to board the bus, yet have to wait for these ignoramuses to get off. If you expect your bus to be on time, don't contribute to delaying it.
