    Re: “The Coastal Cafe
The first time I went here, it was so packed there was not a table left to sit down. My friends and I were heading to Frenchy's (this was before it burnt down) so we grabbed a coffee to go, planning on returning for brunch another weekend.
The second time I went was a few weeks ago and I was stunned by the food. I ordered the "Eggs Goodfella" with a lamb meatball tomato sauce, with a slice of crunchy bread to go with it. The food was amazing, the cappucinno was delicious and the ambience was nice and sunny.
The third time I went, last weekend, I was not as impressed with the meal. I ordered the "Jamaica me Crazy", and it was decent but not as tasty as the lamb meatballs. The jerk sausage was good, but maybe not jerky enough. As well, I ordered my eggs "over hard" since I'm not a fan of runny egg yolks and they got my order wrong, giving me eggs over-easy. I would definitely still recommend this restaurant for brunch, but it does seem that sometimes it might be hit or miss. I've heard this from a few people who have gone there to eat and my experience has confirmed it.

And another idea to add to the list... for the sailor in your life, or simply someone who enjoys looking at pictures of pretty boats, visit http://www.nsschooner.ca/calendar/calendar… to order a locally designed and printed calendar for 2010. The cost is $20 and all the funds go to the Nova Scotia Schooner Association. As a bonus, the calendar is printed 40% post-consumer waste paper.

Just a final addition to my previous review, I hope the owner invests in a table, a few chairs and perhaps some stools so that customers waiting for a burrito have someplace to sit and wait. The wait time to receive it was about 15 minutes and the space would be infinitely cozier is we could have sat down and had our drinks while we waited.
