How many of you knocking $60 pedi's spend more than that in a month on smokes or alcohol instead of doing something nice for yourselves? It's a treat for most people that do it, once a year before going down south, not like you do it once a week.
Maybe they just had a pedicure. I'm an aesthetician and its recommended not to wear socks and shoes for about an hour and a half after a pedi so the polish doesn't smudge. Lots of people who are going away are coming in for pedi's and leaving in flip flops. They feel stupid doing it but its better than ruining a $60 pedicure.
