Scott Logan | The Coast Halifax

Scott Logan

I'll just leave this one out there with no comment... From allnovascotia.com:

An associate deputy director in the Intergovernmental Affairs Department scored the largest pay raise in the Nova Scotia civil service last year.

Scott Logan earned $202,822.98 in the year ending March 31, 2008.

That was 19% more than the previous year, and 45% more than he made in 2005-06.

He beat out Premier Rodney MacDonald, whose earnings of $172,130.72 were up almost 12% from 2006-07, his first year on the job.

The premier's increase was determined by an independent salary commission.

Logan negotiated his big raise during a secondment as ceo of Halifax's failed bid for the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
