“I guess people like me,” says Sayde. That’s a fair bet, as she’s out there doing her thing: specializing in hip hop at Halifax Dance and choreographing the Weather Girls, the Halifax Rainmen dance squad. Switching from gymnastics to dance in grade nine at St. Pat’s, she’s made it her passion ever since, heading to LA twice a year to train and make contacts with the hope of working there in the future. And don’t be surprised to see her on the Canadian version of the hit Fox TV show, So You Think You Can Dance when it goes to air.
