Funeral home scams
Has anyone here had the unfortunate task of having to visit one of our funeral homes lately? I tagged along recently when my grandmother was talked into "pre-arranging" by this weasel in a suit who came to speak at her church, and I couldn't believe it.

Has anyone here had the unfortunate task of having to visit one of our funeral homes lately? I tagged along recently when my grandmother was talked into "pre-arranging" by this weasel in a suit who came to speak at her church, and I couldn't believe it. WHAT a SCAM! They're charging a fortune for nothing, and they wanted almost nine hundred bucks for a wooden box for ashes that had about 5 bucks of wood in it - and that was their cheapest! And the guy wouldn't friggin leave her alone afterwards. Take a friggin' hint and stop calling already! I can only imagine what kind of money people get screwed out of in these places, but no-one talks because it's not on the radar. Sick. Totally sick. No wonder they drive you in those big effin' Cadillacs - you've paid through the ass for them.
