If you'd pay the two-hundred dollars to have your animal fixed, this wouldn't happen and don't give me the excuse that you can't afford it and if you can't, then you shouldn't own an animal. Maybe if you didn't go out 2 weekends/month, you would have more money for your responsibilities. You won't get arrested for abandonment by dropping them off at the SPCA, at least there they have a chance to go to a home where they will be loved. Luckily, someone stopped to look in the box.
