We are so lame

It’s 2007—Nova Scotia should catch up with the times. Teens are getting pregnant only to have their babies taken away or given up for adoption. Why do we not have abortion clinics in Halifax? Why is abortion not an accessible option for young women? Because we’re an old-fashioned, conservative, outdated province. Halifax is one of the most segregated, racist cities in Canada. We don’t care about our cultural sector and now we are going to arrest any kid with spray paint and ban graffiti. It’s time for change.
