| This isn't Nicolas Roeg's best-known movie. It hasn't the selling points of The Man Who Fell to Earth or Don't Look Now. But its influence is such that it needs to be rediscovered. Long before Steven Soderbergh and Atom Egoyan were heralded for fragmented editing, Roeg's disorienting cutting patterns were revolutionary expressions of his characters shell shock.
