Want Two is a direct continuation of Want One’s explorations of friendship, decadence and sexual identity, with even more classical musical references than before. Might be a too heavy on the cream for some, but a version of the disc contains an essential DVD of Wainwright live at the Fillmore, a spectacular concert where he pulls tunes from every album, including his campy ode to cell phone abuse (“Vibrate”), “Foolish Love” and perhaps the definitive version of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.
