Best Female Theatre Actor

Gold Winner Stephanie MacDonald

Silver Winner Jackie Torrens

Bronze Winner Andrea Lee Norwood

It’s been another play-packed year for actor Stephanie MacDonald, who scooped this award last year too, and she used it to showcase her considerable range. She spent most of May in the harrowing drama The Weekend Healer for KAZAN Co-op, the summer singing by the fire at Ross Creek with Two Planks and a Passion and is currently onstage at Neptune in Daniel MacIvor’s comedy Small Things. Early next year she’ll head to Fredericton for The Boat at Theatre New Brunswick. “This is a very, very nice surprise. I greatly appreciate that people took the time to vote for me,” MacDonald says. “It’s very touching. Myself and all the weirdo, rough, outsider characters I have the privilege to play thank you.”
