The Halifax Shopping Centre’s Apple Store opened back in 2012, making it the first Apple Store in Atlantic Canada. Since the Halifax Mac Store on Barrington closed earlier that same year, the mall is the only place Apple fanatics can get their fix on the peninsula side of the bridge. Mac computers, iPads and iPhones are all up for grabs, but the store is also the place to pop by for something small—if you happen to lose your charger, for instance. On top of that, the less tech-savvy can learn how to get the hang of a new device or update through the shop’s free hour-long workshops.
