It’s one more Best Activist Organization plaque to hang on the new walls at the Ecology Action Centre’s renovated headquarters on Fern Lane. The EAC moved back into its upgraded, even more energy-efficient saltbox location this past spring—just in time to watch the houses across the street get torn down to make room for an expanded Honda dealership’s parking lot. Win some, lose some. That’s no reason not to keep up the good fight that the EAC’s team of expert advocates have been waging to protect Nova Scotia’s oceans and turn back plans for the energy east pipeline.
