Janene McIssac recommends the Halifax campus for being effective—and fun
I was enrolled in the Intensive French Program at U-Sainte-Anne, Halifax. I participated in three sessions, which were five weeks in length, and received certificates in Intermediate and Advanced level French.
I love the French language and have been a student of French for many years. I’ve also been a teacher with the Halifax Regional School Board and the South Shore Regional School Board since 2006, and knew that I needed to become more specialized in order to create new opportunities.
I had previously studied at U-Sainte-Anne in Pont de l’Église, and after receiving a bursary from the Department of Education, I decided to study at the Halifax campus. While expressing my ideas and opinions without reverting to my first language, English, was a big challenge, I really enjoyed it—that’s why intensive classes deliver such great results.
I would highly recommend the Intensive French program at U-Sainte-Anne’s Halifax campus. The teachers are fantastic; and they are so good at catering the program to your personal and professional goals. It’s highly effective and a lot of fun too!
