“It is a great feeling to know that the hard work we’ve been putting in is hitting home with folks,” says Bert Anderson of his country band. “Me and the boys have definitely been pushing hard in the last couple of years,” doing things like touring all over the world and playing Nashville. Their new album Cold Ground includes “a sweet Hammond B3 organ” and six other pieces—it was recorded live off the floor, and be released on December 18. Anderson and the band will celebrate with a party on New Year’s Eve at The Resolutes Club. “That’s the place it all started for us,” he says, “hence the name.”
